Investigation have revealed that he is wanted in several criminal cases

Police said they arrested a close associate of underworld criminal ‘Uru Juwa’ and at the time of his arrest at Godauda in Mulleriyawa on Wednesday he is reported to have had 6.10 grammes of heroin in his possession.
Police said the suspect Danushka Ariyawansa (30) alias ‘Ranga’ is a resident of Himbutana in Angoda.
Investigation revealed that he was a wanted in several criminal cases such as a robbery of a three-wheeler in Himbutana in 2020, two shooting incidents in Hanwella in 2018 and 2019 and the robbing of a fuel station in Padukka in 2015.
