PAFFREL launches ‘March 12 Declaration’

“March 12 Declaration”, a set of recommendations to be included into the proposed code of conduct due to be introduced to politicians as part of the 100-day program, was launched by the election watchdog People’s Action for Free and Fair Elections (PAFFREL) this morning at the BMICH. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and Opposition Leader Nimal Siripala De Silva attended the event. Pix by Pradeep Pathirana
