The Buddhist philosophy is all about Human Rights. He perched this philosophy as there was a lot of human rights abuse in India during his time.

Why the Religious people are protesting? Do not mix the religion with politics otherwise history will have the habit of repeating it self.

Buddha taught peace and consecrated life from this world. Buddhism speaks about the uncertainty of this life and world.
Why are these so called buddhist monks ( followers of Buddha) getting involved in the politics of the country. They are supposed to live a life like the Lord Buddha did. He gave up his kingdom , palace, country , family, etc,,
All I can say is, these people wear yellow robes for their own benefits. not the true followers of Buddha

You know my dear TRUTH, The Truth is One Major principle of Buddhism is Protection of Life .... HUMAN LIFE. I think Tamils of Sri Lanka are also part of Humanity. Seek the Truth and not just emotional stuff. Sad to see 2500 venerable monks don't see the truth.
