Large number of people especially from the South is visiting the former war torn areas such as Pudukudayirippu, Pudumathalan and Mullativu to see weapons, bunkers and houses that were once operated by the LTTE. I don't see the explaination of "Terrorist under ground hideout" in tamil. I see in english and sinhalees version but, not the tamil version.

can i visit my house? i don't want to see LTTE's weapons/houses/bunkers. Can't understand anything as signs are not in Tamil though tamil is an official (so called) language. I need to visit my house only. but waiting for years to get approval.

Truthfully this is like a dream to me. I left Sri Lanka in 1983 and lots of my school friends and my cousins were killed by the LTTE. we all have to be greatfull to the leadership of the president. Too bad the army comander is in jail...

To answer the question by some, as to why the boards are not in the tamil language. I certainly do not think any tamils would want to visit these places to be reminded of the monster who destroyed and took away their dignity and children to fight a war that most of them did not want or support.
