He is a Buddhist in a Hindu temple,our two religions are very related because Buddha was born as a Hindu to a Royal family.So why can't we both the Tamils and Sinhalese live in harmony with mutual respect.This tragedy shouldn't have happened.

Ranil is not a Buddhist. He is a born Catholic. His Father Edmand Wickramasinghe is a Catholic. His uncle (Brother of his father ). Laxman Wickramasinghe was a former Bishop of Colombo. He says he is a Buddhist only for cosmetic purposes.
