The keel laying ceremony to start building the biggest ever vessel to be made in Sri Lanka was held with the participation of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe in Colombo today.
The project is being carried out by Sri Lankan ship building company, Colombo Dockyard PLC (CDPLC) for a Japanese cable laying company,Kokusai Cable Ship Co. Ltd. (KCS).The vessel would be the biggest in contract value as well as in length. Pics by Pradeep Pathirana
