Lakdhanavi receives National Occupational Safety & Health Excellence Silver Award

Lakdhanavi Limited, the power generation arm of the LTL Holdings group, was presented National Occupational Safety & Health Excellence Silver Awards 2016 for the outstanding level of achievements in workplace safety and health in operating Yugadanavi 300 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant in Kerawalapitiya.

This achievement duly recognizes the company’s commitment towards setting world-class standards in safety, quality and demonstrated capability in operating large-scale thermal power plants in an efficient and safe manner. Lakdhanavi Limited was recently awarded the internationally prestigious, Sri Lankan Power Plant of the Year Award for 2016 at the Asian Power Awards ceremony in Seoul, Korea September 2016.

By implementing all necessary OSH procedures and following best OSH practices, Lakdhanavi Limited has been able to introduce new safety dimensions to SriLankan thermal power generation and heavy industry.
