The CIMA Corporate Partners Programme, a business network comprised of some of the most well acclaimed organizations in Sri Lanka, will celebrate its 10th year on today.
With its inception in 2007, the CIMA Corporate PartnersProgramme has facilitated greater employment opportunities for students and members, mentoring future leaders , supporting innovation in the accounting profession and the fostering of greater insights and dialog amongst the country’s business community.
This year is of particular importance. Together with their joint venture partner the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), CIMA formed the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants earlier in 2017. The Association represents 650,000 members and students in public and management accounting, advancing the reputation of CIMA students and members worldwide.
To elaborate further on the Association and the expanded opportunities for CIMA’s Corporate Partners, Venkkat Ramanan (Regional Vice President, Asia Pacific), Lawson Carmichael (Executive Vice President – People, Strategy & Innovation) and Irene Teng (Managing Director – Europe, Africa & Asia) will be in attendance.
CIMA Corporate Partners for the year will be unveiled at an event held at the Cinnamon Grand.
