What is Rauff Hakeem's stand on the Demolition of the "DAMBULLA MOSQUE "? The Prime Minister D.M.Jayaratne ordered the demolition of the Masjidul Khaira in Dambulla, his office said in a statement, adding that the decision was made with the consent of Senior Minister A.H.M. Fowzy, Deputy Minister M.L.A.M. Hizbullah, Western Province Governor Alavi Mowlana, and parliamentarian A. R. M. Abdul Cader at a meeting held yesterday in Gampola. “There was no such meeting, and I was in Batticaloa the whole day,” Hizbullah said, adding, “any decision about the mosque should be taken by the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama (ACJU) – the four of us are not empowered to take such a decision.” Knowing that the PM is lying, if so, still you want to be with the Government for the only reason that you are Power Hungry?

all RH bashers, as a minister representing muslims he is doing the utmost under current circumstances. please note that we need our representation in every party in power. there are racist elements in every society and running away from the current government is not the solution.

In an important statement issued to the public by All Ceylon Jammiyyathul Ulma (ACJU) on the prevailing situation in country after the Dambulla Mosque incident, they appeal to all Muslims of Sri Lanka to maintain peace and calm without disupting law and order by holding improper demonstrations causing inconvenience to public and damaing public property. ACJU reminds Muslims of Sri Lanka that they should not forget the fact that the majority of the Buddhist poeple are peace loving, rational and fair minded; and they do not approve such acts.

This is the difference between Ashroff and you, He would have never given a cause for petty positions like you. Try to be at least 1% of the leader he was.

Leaving the government is not the solution. Try to find solutions while staying with the government. If leaving is the solution, then GOSL should leave the membership of UN.
