UNP municipal Councilor arrested

A UNP member of the Moratuwa Municipal Council was arrested last evening by the Mount Lavinia Anti crimes Unit while allegedly possessing fraudulent building plans and rubber seals of several officials.

The rubber seals of the Commissioner of Moratuwa Municipal Council and a director of a Private Housing Institution were in his possession when he was arrested, police said.

The suspect is to be produced before the Moratuwa Magistrate Courts today.
