TID arrests uni. student

The Police Terrorist Investigation Division (TID) had arrested a third-year student of the Sabaragamuwa University on Tuesday on charges of an assault incident in the University.

The student, who had engaged in a suspected terrorist organisation during the war, had been rehabilitated and released in 2011, the Police said.

They said he was being interrogated by the Terrorist Investigation Division.(Prince Ratnayake)
