MR IF YOU ARE A REAL GENTLEMEN SHOW YOUR STATEMENTSHIP AND RELEASE SF AS HE TOO WAS A WAR HERO AND FORGET HIS POLITICS.

    Sue Monday, 04 October 2010 07:30 AM

What do you mean threat from LTTE Karu? Prabakaran is dead and the rest of the LTTE big wigs are in the Govt. of MR. So, what are you actually trying to say?

    DIlan Monday, 04 October 2010 07:35 AM

    sarath's mouth distroy him

    Karthik Monday, 04 October 2010 07:53 AM

"what goes around comes around" SF is the perfect example for this saying

Senior citizen Monday, 04 October 2010 08:00 AM

Well...his life is in danger not only from LTTE............

    Premakumar Monday, 04 October 2010 08:05 AM

It is not security that one should be looking for.SF. We must all plead and beg with the Government to release him. UNP should take the lead on this to get him freed. Lets all go on knees to our President and ask him to release SF.This is the least we can do for this great hero.

Calistus Jayatilleke Monday, 04 October 2010 11:35 AM

Sue: you said a mouthful! "Prabakaran is dead and the rest of the LTTE big wigs are in the Govt. of MR" . So, that is exactly what we are worried about!

    Defender Monday, 04 October 2010 11:48 AM

    Yes, yes "Bena" (Son-in-law)

    Defender Monday, 04 October 2010 11:53 AM

    Who's the boss? Ranil??

    Chindesha Monday, 04 October 2010 08:37 AM

If SF would have selected as president at last presidential election, he would have done more than this to MR

    Wasantha Monday, 04 October 2010 08:46 AM

How can we expect gentleman politics in a banana republic?.

    Saradial Monday, 04 October 2010 08:46 AM

Can you back to real world from dream world

John Fernandez Monday, 04 October 2010 08:47 AM

So he has enemies even in the prison! It's not LTTE, it's former army personnel who were sent to prison by SF.

jim jam Monday, 04 October 2010 08:48 AM

SF will need more than security to ensure that he survives the next 30 months.

    CJ Monday, 04 October 2010 12:11 PM

That is a cooked up story by the opponents!

    daham Monday, 04 October 2010 08:50 AM

    What Chindesa says is correct

    suranga Monday, 04 October 2010 08:51 AM

How can you say "Man" for our great hero

Smart Aleck Monday, 04 October 2010 09:12 AM

Why should :the people" go on their knees before the President? It was "the people" who elected him. Let "the people" demand a Referendum to decide on the General's fate.

    nish Monday, 04 October 2010 05:51 AM

He desperately needs it in that environment as the LTTE inmates knows the true color of SF and who else knows it better than Ex-LTTEs!!

    DILHAN Monday, 04 October 2010 05:55 AM

    not only LTTE

Concerned Citizen Tuesday, 05 October 2010 06:05 AM

Are you so innocent that you do not know there are LTTErs behind bars?

    Saradial Monday, 04 October 2010 05:58 AM

    Threat only from LTTE?

Concerned Citizen Tuesday, 05 October 2010 06:06 AM

    Good answer, Smart Aleck!

    Ranjith Monday, 04 October 2010 09:50 AM

    Same applies to your boss

    GGH Monday, 04 October 2010 02:13 PM

You are fully responsible for all the happenings and you should provide enough security for SF. If you did not put SF into this trap, still SF is a respectable army officer.

    kamal Monday, 04 October 2010 06:04 AM

    Do something Karu.....save this HERO

    Ranjith Monday, 04 October 2010 09:51 AM

    Not for computer jilamrt

    wasa Monday, 04 October 2010 06:04 AM

    Threat from Whom? LTTE......

Surendra Nawarathne Monday, 04 October 2010 06:08 AM

" Lasntha Wickramathunge" would have felt the same way. Traitor of the nation trying sell the country to Westerns by giving military secrets to public!

    kumar Monday, 04 October 2010 06:09 AM

where were these people when general is fighting the war

King Kong Monday, 04 October 2010 09:57 AM

There is not special security for any convicts, if need be Karu Jayasuriya could be his additonal security officer.

    senarath Monday, 04 October 2010 06:11 AM

Now no threat from LTTE. LTTE big people are now our friends no? Be careful from .................
    Senarath

Roshan DW Monday, 04 October 2010 06:15 AM

Mr President, you got to do something. This man may have made a few mistakes. But he is a war hero & the nation loves hin as much as we love you.

    Watchman Monday, 04 October 2010 06:15 AM

No time to waste and please do not leave any loop holes threatning this national hero's life. We cannot be happy with your (UNP) amount of involvement in this case so far.

    sf Monday, 04 October 2010 06:16 AM

Please the Whole Opposition must Unite to Save this Brave Hero...
Please think, he is a man who fought so hard to save our country from Terrorism - but today ...........

SRI LANKAN Monday, 04 October 2010 06:19 AM

    LTTE better then goverment....

    mohandev Monday, 04 October 2010 06:39 AM

Simple solution, admit that he made mistakes whilst in office & beg for presidential pardon. Alls well that ends well then !

    suran Monday, 04 October 2010 06:39 AM

Are you talking about yourself ? Or is it about someone who was in USA

mata nikang hithuna Monday, 04 October 2010 06:42 AM

LTTE inmates or other underworld gangsters can do nothing, unless a contract passed on SF life. Prison is the best and the safest place to kill a person.

    ransam Monday, 04 October 2010 06:43 AM

He can't do anything. He can't control his sun-in-law. He couldn't beat Paba.

    Kariyawasam Monday, 04 October 2010 06:47 AM

Act fast to save the life of our War Hero soon!

    Fayad Monday, 04 October 2010 06:47 AM

You jump from Left to Right Right to Left People are confused when political leaders like you make even a genuine comment

Percy Mandawala Monday, 04 October 2010 06:50 AM

LTTE leaders are now with the Rajapaksas.

    Jonny Monday, 04 October 2010 10:30 AM

If anything happens to our Hero (U & the SLFP & ALL MINISTERS) will be sorry for life.

    citizen1 Monday, 04 October 2010 04:58 PM

That story is really getting old and boring. Infact some mothballs are required to keep it going... give it up mate!

    UPFA Monday, 04 October 2010 06:58 AM

    Because LTTE remains a company?

    Karu Monday, 04 October 2010 07:02 AM

Karu now that your leader seems to need even more security after the Galle hoot up..... 40 policemen and a ASP will not be enough ?

    deekan Monday, 04 October 2010 07:04 AM

is it realy from the LTTE,How can it be from LTTE when there is no more LTTE.
