Murder in Nuwara Eliya: Five sentenced to death

The five accused found guilty of murdering Govinda Logeshwaran and robbing jewellery worth Rs.750, 000 from a jewellery store at Nuwara Eliya in 2000 were today sentenced to death by the Nuwara Eliya High court.

    14 years to solve the case.. very efficient legal framework in Sri Lanka. Mr. Govinda Logeshwaran's ghost must be laughing with so much joy because how short it took to solve the case..
