If the law & order is not executed properly people will take the law in to their hands.
High time authorities to bring back the death sentence to curb the crime rate which on the rise.

Bringing back the death sentence is not a remedy to this issue. It is the culture of everybody from the President to the Muncipal Council Worker who pay scant regard to the correct thing with honesty and conscience.

Death sentence is one remedy.now prison is just like a hostel run at a cost of people"s cost and it's a safest place for criminals to organize crimes again and again They are more above the innocent law abiding people. .

It is normal ...where murder is happening every corner and the justices is only for the rich, People will take the law into their own hands. Its high time we bring Capital punishment.

Gaja Banda Saturday, 24 March 2012 06:10 AM

Bringing in capital punishment is not the answer and will only drag SL backwards.

What the government needs to do is take action on law & order, human rights and improve them together with economic development efforts of this country.

All peace loving Sri Lankans should commend the Sri Lanka Police for good work, and the person who noted the vehicle number on the sand. Well done.
