Marine Drive murder suspect arrested

Police today arrested a suspect in the marine drive killing, police spokesman Prishantha Jayakody said. SSP Jayakody said the suspect was taken into custody together with the knife allegedly used in the crime.

The suspect is said to be a 44 year old male named Abdul Cader residing in the Pamankada area and the Police said he had personally known the victim Vijitha de Costa .

The Bambalapitya police who made the arrest are carrying on further investigations into the incident.( H.F)
