Politicians should never have got involved in our sport. There's in fighting nothing to do with the sport and the players lose morale. These two are not only talented cricketers but also wonderful ambassadors for Sri Lanka in their travels.

It's a pity that two of the greatest players ever in Sri Lanka have decided to quit shortly. We'll miss you and will always remember your heroic efforts for the Motherland. Your decision to quit when you are on top is creditable unlike some others. You have also set an example to some politicians who refuse to got even when kicked not once but over 20 times. via DM iPad app

salute for the both for all that sweat made in the name of motherland.. good decision considering the age age of both but surely this announcement has more to address than jst been a retirement. I think the controversial agreements of the players had made their retirement early than expected however can't really blame them. after all they are sportsmen, limited time to gather the resources they need to continue the lifestyle they live. surely we may see them on the money pumping tournaments in the future. malinga was the first to think this, but his announcement was LOUDER than what it should have been but still we see him at his best when it really matters. Gud luck anyways guys! via DM Android App
