Karunanidhi is the same man to resurrect TESO (Tamil Eelam Supporters org) so it would be in his nature to oppose President Rajapakse's stand of denying more autonomy to the Sri Lankan Tamils for if given it would be one step away from realizing Eelam.

I am an Indian, I am sorry we have stupid people like Karunanidihi. But he is old and I hope he dies soon. In majority, We love you Sri Lankans. He has no idea what he is talking about. I hope Tamil Nadu has more sensible politicians focusing on abolition of caste system, development and internal issues rather than poking Sri Lankan politics. I agree Tamils should be given equal rights but separate state is an illegitimate demand. They shouldn't ask or get a separate state.

Afro-Americans in US, Indians in Canada, Asians in UK, Aborigines in Australia do not have allocated political power based on their ethinicity. MR has a vision to modernise the nation with all citizens having same rights, coexisting peacefully. The aging Karuna fellow thinks along ethnic lines, caste lines and no vision for his squalid Tamil Nadu state. Can you envisage US granting 15 states exclusive to Afro-Americans?
