Injured Sri Lankan Cricket team captain T.M.Dilshan has been ruled out of the T20 match against England to be played on June 25. Thilina Kandamby will lead the side, SLC sources said.

I think 99 % of people in Sri lanka don't know what Kandamby could add to SL team. As far as my reading he will be the best option to Captain SL team in Dilshan's absence ! ! ! I strongly believe he will prove himself as he is the most successful and experienced captain in the second tier. . . .

Well Cook wasn't even part of the English ODI set-up, even in the WC! He too emerged from 'out-of-spot' to ODI captain! Only difference is its the T20 in Kandamby's case.
However this is just a one match replacement for the injured captain, so you can show your rage for just 4 hours of T20 cricket!
P.S. I too don't like this appointment! Change of stars nonetheless!
