The JVP will hold discussions at its next politburo meeting regarding UNP Deputy Leader Karu Jayasuriya’s call to form a joint opposition alliance, JVP leader Somawansa Amarasinghe told Daily Mirror online.
He said the meeting is to be held in a week’s time but said a date has not being fixed yet.
The UNP Deputy Leader had last week called on the JVP and other opposition political parties to join forces to oppose the government. (YP)

Yes ... JVP & UNP should work together. This idiotic UPFA has no clue how to manage the country. This is the bitter truth and people of Sri Lanka should realise this. UNP are good managers and JVP can be good controllers.
