Same here. The one in the middle seems to be from a central or south african country. But again my eye sight may be poor.

Ultimate goal of a Miss Sri Lanka aspirant should be to win the Miss Universe of Miss World. Hope the pageant organizers will have that Vision. If not why have a Miss Sri Lanka ?

In International competitions , unfortunately our girls do not come up to expectations of International beauties. India is one step ahead of us and they have produced many winners also Latin American countries where girls are trained from a young age to enter these competitions.

Let me rephrase your comment Nanda. All of them are beautiful. But non of them will fit the criteria that Miss Universe/world organisation requires. Height, body, facial features etc. You cant blame the contestants for the way they are made. Sri Lankan genetically structured to be shorter, and with more rounded faced and unfortunately it does not qualify for the 'tall-fair skinned-caucassian build' contestants that those guys are looking for. But our girls are still beautiful :)

Why couldn't or didn't the organizers go to the villages in Sri Lanka?

    patrick Monday, 05 July 2010 08:19 AM

    Wish you success in Bollywood!
