Indian PM in surprise Pakistan visit

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has landed in Pakistan on surprise visit to meet Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif today, BBC reported.

Incidently, today is Mr. Sharif's birthday. Mr. Modi, in a tweet, said he spoke to Mr. Sharif and wished him.

According to the Indian media reports, Mr. Modi is returning to New Delhi, later in the day.

The NDA government in the Centre, recently decided to restart the India-Pakistan dialogue, which was suspended after the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.
