Dy. Minister hospitalised in accident

Deputy Minister Sarath Chandrasiri Muthukumarana had been hospitalised when his vehicle collided with a lorry at the Kammalakkulama Junction on the Anuradhapura-Mihintale Road at Kannattiya earlier today, the Police said

The Police said the lorry that was travelling in front of Muthukumarana’s vehicle had turned from the main road causing the accident. The driver of the lorry had also been hospitalised, they said. (Athula Bandara)

Super. This time for a change it had been the lorry that had turned from the main road. Normally it is the VIP vehicle that goes all over the road.
