DM and actress among collision

An accident involving two jeeps of Deputy Minister of Co-operatives and Internal Trade Basheer Segu Dawood’s convoy, a vehicle belonging to actress Medha Jayaratne, an Army truck and a bus took place at near the Ibbankatuwa ‘S’ junction in Dambulla, Galewela police said.

Three people in actress Jayaratne’s vehicle received minor injuries. The Deputy Minister and Medha Jayaratne were unhurt in the incident. (KKA)

    Was the convoy speeding? if so will some one be prosecuted for breaking the law - I will answer that - NO - Politicians and their hencemen are never prosecuted - Ask Mervyn
