Sure, but its the son in Law and his mother

    mw Tuesday, 13 July 2010 11:09 AM

Basically, two sets of laws operate: one set, if you are "with us"; and another, if you are "against us"

    Ronnie Tuesday, 13 July 2010 11:21 AM

Everyday people complain that no action is being taken against criminals. Now that some action is being taken against a money-launderer, people still have reason to criticize. Sometimes I just don't understand.

    Indika Tuesday, 13 July 2010 11:25 AM

They don't want to see their superstar in jail or to take action against them. Excluding him, action should take against all the criminals, specially in the government.

    babu Tuesday, 13 July 2010 11:32 AM

mw it is the rule of US & West, we need to follow

Senior Citizen Tuesday, 13 July 2010 11:35 AM

Yes action is good but the problem is the selective action. One side must play by rules or you are in trouble, but the other side plays pandu with no rules.

    Sprint Tuesday, 13 July 2010 12:50 PM

Ronnie, what you don't understand is whether you are on the side of the ruling party or not..

    citizen1 Tuesday, 13 July 2010 12:50 PM

What about the grandmother? will they harrass her again?

    Jay Tuesday, 13 July 2010 12:57 PM

This country has become a dictatorship.

    Indika Tuesday, 13 July 2010 10:49 AM

    Both are having issues.

    DON Tuesday, 13 July 2010 01:25 PM

    preethi Tuesday, 13 July 2010 04:15 PM

    Manjal Tuesday, 13 July 2010 05:26 PM

Thanks for quoting Lord Buddha. We are all brothers. I look at everyone as Sri Lankans. I try to look beyond their ski color and religion.

    Amir Tuesday, 13 July 2010 09:42 PM

We are being ruled by a 'baila' government.

    suwimal Tuesday, 13 July 2010 09:24 AM

Now I can see why the AG's Dept was placed under president.

    Ricky Tuesday, 13 July 2010 07:38 AM

When you enjoy in summer one day you will suffer in winter

    bash Tuesday, 13 July 2010 08:48 AM

I thought that it was the defence ministry that procures or approves purchases to the armed forces and they should be indicted for commissions

    Ranjana Tuesday, 13 July 2010 08:53 AM

When power changes same thing could happend to families who are doing this type of things to others . They would suffer the same qunsequences

    Sirisena Tuesday, 13 July 2010 09:06 AM

How exactly is this going to help anyone?

    bugger Tuesday, 13 July 2010 07:31 AM

Comming shortly even SFs dog might be arrested

Nishantha Rajapakse Tuesday, 13 July 2010 09:24 AM

usual baila.CID will investigate the mother and the son-in-law of the mother.

    Musthafa Tuesday, 13 July 2010 09:27 AM

    whatever,

    mohandev Tuesday, 13 July 2010 09:29 AM

What a sad situation for a mother to be & pay for sons sins. More tragic is for a son to deliberately allow a mother to pay for his sins & crimes

Bluff Bluff Tuesday, 13 July 2010 09:41 AM

If not son, at least his mom!

    Migida Tuesday, 13 July 2010 09:43 AM

Why dont you charge his grandma as well.?

    Rohantha Tuesday, 13 July 2010 09:44 AM

    Harrasment of the innocent!

    nishV Tuesday, 13 July 2010 10:43 AM

but its illegal to put so much money in a bank safe-locker. brake the rules, face the consequences. anyone is innocent until they are proven guilty.
