Brothel raided in Maharagama

Five women were arrested during a raid by the Walana Vice Squad on an alleged brothel being run under the guise of an Ayurvedic Medical Centre in Maharagama yesterday, police said.

They said another man and woman were also arrested for managing the brothel. The arrested five woman suspects were aged between 29 and 48 years from the Padukka, Punewa, Ratmalana, Moratumulla and Avissawella areas

The suspects are to be produced before the Gangodawila Magistrate today. (CP)
