Protests going on worldwide triggered by a white policeman torturing and killing a black man which was caught in a video by a member of the public. All Sri Lankan police Stations should be covered by CCTV cameras if we want to stop police brutality inside all Police Stations.

The OIC and entire police officers in the police station must be held accountable for this. It's highly suspicious too when they say the suspect committed suicide inside the police cell. The officers must be charged for murder.

let a post mortem be done to see if he had been brutally beaten to obtain evidence, which actually would have caused his death. will the coroner state in his report how the victim hang himself, was there a hook on the ceiling, did he use a rope and why was there a rope in the cell. who assisted him to put a rope or wire round his neck, in what did he stand on and then jump down to cause his neck to break . Sorry sirs - this reeks with suspicion.

Suicide is one offence where the offender is punished if he fails, but allowed scott free if he succeed.
