Special flight carrying COVID-19 test kits arrives

A special flight from Shanghai, China carrying some 20,064 COVID-19 test kits (PCR-Fluorescence Probing) donated by the Alibaba Foundation in collaboration with the Jack Ma Foundation arrived in Sri Lanka this evening, official sources said.

They said the consignment was worth USD 130, 000 and they were to be donated to the Health Ministry in Sri Lanka

The kits were produced by the DAAN Gene Co and met the requirements and standards stipulated by the Ministry of Health and Indigenous Medicine.
