123 more asylum seekers arrested

Nearly 123 asylum seekers were arrested this evening by the Navy off Chundikulam in Point Pedro and off Batticaloa.

The trawler intercepted off Batticaloa had 62 people on board while the trawler intercepted off Chundikulam had 61 people on board, the Navy said. (SD)

    Aren't these people stupid .... if you see past few days so many get caught. Cost Guard operation is superb now ... they should know that they cannot leave like that.
