I cannot understand gentlemen of the stature of Mr. Dinesh Gunawardene and Mr. Vasudeva Nanayakkara be seen in the same platform as confidence tricksters such as Gamanpila and Weerawansa. Have they come down to such a bankrupt state? Ofcourse if all of them face an election they might even loose their deposits. Today the voter is certainly not stupid. He proved himself to be patient and finally turned to be the judge, the jury and the executioner.

Suren Monday, 23 March 2015 06:23 PM
Eds, exactly my point. Are you saying that when people voted My3 in they did not expect a change/difference to the better?
Silva Monday, 23 March 2015 06:22 PM
Yes, you are right, the CB governor should be sacked immediately and a prompt inquiry to be carried out and the culprits brought to books, if not, masses will reject both SLFP and UNP and will vote for JVP at the next elections, aswe have seen in Delhi, India !
Eds Monday, 23 March 2015 05:39 PM
What is the difference between then and now ?
