Before long, ICC will suspend SL from cricket and from ICC membership as there is too much political interference in SL cricket. These Parliament idiots destroy everything. Everyone knows what happened to SL Airlines. I don't know why ICC has not already suspended SL.

Why cant the SLC act as an independent body? Why should corrupt politicians get involved in sports? Not necessary for Ministers to approve tournements or squads for matches.

Just dissolve SLC and appoint competent interim committee!! Let ICC know that this is the start of improving the quality and standard of SL cricket!! And SL is the Only country to reach 5 conservative ICC World Cups (winning one) and with the interim committee, gonna bring back the glory days, yeah!!

SLC is giving gifts left and right. Recently another $100,000 USD given to player. The public can't continue to be entranced by cricket, because SLC ruling members are only in for the perks, and don't care about country. Even if no fans came to watch they would still make millions as their money is from forign television company, and ticket sales locally are worth little. SLC wants public to be romanced by the cricket so they can continue their corrupt behaviours undetected.

They should question how did a company like IPG who had no prior experience running League got the contact to run this LPL. These guys yet to show 5 club owners who are credible and happy to stay long term. I'm sure this year they will have another set of new owners. It's a joke. Doing things for sake of it.

SLC has become a lay unto itself. However, that is no reason why the politicians should play any role in its affairs. They will only make it worse. Who are ministers to dictate terms to any sports body?

The Sports Ministry needs to be less wet behind the ears and be pro-active. This doesn't mean you should try and push your interests but help facilitate the work that the LPL undertakes for a successful season.

This is an addition to my earlier comment.Sri Lankans are divided, quarrel.The politicians know this weakness and exploit it.So they are smarter than you think.So if you want to change the system you should get together.You can have differences but you can still get together for a common cause to develop the country.It won't be easyThink of your children we all have children and families and try to work together do it in a small way one step at a time.Teach co-operation in schools
