The brother of Sri Lankan factory manager Priyantha Kumara Diyawadana, who was brutally murdered in Sialkot, Pakistan, has urged media and social media users to stop circulating videos of his brother's brutal torture and murder.
Videos of the murder of Priyantha are still circulating widely on social media.
Priyantha's brother said that the spread of videos of his brother's murder on social media networks has caused shock and distress to his family, especially to his two children and the wife.
Therefore, he also requested the social media authorities to take immediate action to remove the videos which are already circulating on social media.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan media reported that a total of 124 suspects, including 13 key suspects, have been arrested in the gruesome murder case.(DSB)

Some take this opportunity to blame the rulers for this incident. Others are trying divert public attention away from the political chaos in Sri Lanka. Some others trying to whip up racial hatred in Sri Lanka. Everyone of them is trying to mislead the community, without any feeling for the family who is grieving.

I have not seen these videos. It is better you tell the Sri Lanka public to stop watching them. If that happens no one will share such videos.

Ugly handling of Social Media is the bane. Continuous circulation of cruelty/ torture is equally bad as the crime.

Cant imagine how the family feel tge pain now seeing the videos. Very bad. In those countries if you happen to argue with those people for some thing which is not related to religion they will accuse you of insulting the religion. It is happening in all those countries.

Yes please stop the video. I am so sorry for the family. May no human being undergo such brutality. May all man kind leave senseless extremism and Terrorism all together. Engage in sports and art to calm down one's mind.

Feel so sad for the family for what they have to go through. Govt should take action to ban such videos and punish those who post them on social media. Everyone should think about the feelings of fellow human beings. This world created as a paradise is now looking more like hell.
