Sajith Premadasa might have been a better pilot after all!? Whether he really has the leadership qualities, with a well-chosen team, to lead the country out of its misery into a good future seems to me to be doubtful! His past qualities and performances do not indicate that. Sri Lanka is facing the greatest challenges in recent history! Ranil and the Rajapaksa followers, without the fundamental, radical changes in politics that they are not capable of, will fail! The all-important, vital question is then that of those politicians who have the appropriate concepts and strategies to further develop the economy and to make a fair, balancing policy that transcends ethnic boundaries in the interest of all people!

It's not too late Sajith. I changed careers at the age of 60 and today I'm piloting buses. There's not much of a difference between a Bus and an Airbus. You can have a fling on both and wings on one.

First decide what you want to be. Don't keep on changing careers like a kid in kindergarten. It shows you are not yet ready to lead a political party. Just talks don't bring results - time is running out. Do something or let others to do.

What matters today is not IF'S AND WHY'S but a leader who is dynamic to face the challenges head on by thinking positively with a brain like a Fox to outsmart a sharp veteran politician who updated his homework with the ultimate goal of being President although he was a discarded coin of an old era. Even when the plumb position was offered to you on a platter you refused it not making opportunity to devise strategies of taking a grip of power since you were over cautious and good leaders cannot have this trait as the saying goes a Bird IN THE HAND IS WORTH TWO IN THE BUSH. Maturity counts in life in grabbing opportunities as an opportunity lost will never come its way unless by a divine hand. Good luck in the Airline field as a GROUND HANDLER HOPEFULLY ON HOLD TO BE THE NEXT PILOT
