However, there will be no change with Lanka Super Diesel 4 Star Euro 4 (Rs.510), Lanka Petrol 95 Octane Euro 4 (Rs.510), Lanka Petrol 92 Octane (Rs.370), and Lanka Industrial Kerosene (Rs.464). (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)

Why not double prices of Super Diesel and 95 Octane petrol?? Users can afford any price and CPC can cover their losses, subsidizing public transport and industries..

What will the various Bus Owners say. They last time with reduction they said it meant nothing. But of course this 15 rupee increase gives them chance to increase prices. It's only private owners who hire out buses for the crimes like done by Mahinda supporters when they attacked Galle Face protestors. Government must better support SLTB as only sure non-profit driven bus service.

Very Clever Minister. Load all taxes on us for the Ministers to enjoy their perks. Why not we return to the old system where all those who do not have houses in Colombo to be provided hostel accommodation like previous Sravasthi saving millions, remove all security. If this is done fuel prices can be reduced as the savings can cushion any deficit

In accordance with the conditions regarding the price formula, the prices should have been revised on the 15 th. Why increase the prices so suddenly. The price formula is just another massive fraud initiated by the wretched regime to fleece the public even further.

people are tired, they just accept what ever the price increase as they cant do anything against it.Any protest will be met by force. This is the time a real leader should surface in this country to save the starving and suppressed masses.

Now everything from a loaf of bread to a packet of rice will be raised by 15/- (because according to our specialists, they apply the increase price or tax component of any kind direct to the product - pavement hawker style)
