Colombo, April 28 (Daily Mirror)- The public are urged to exercise caution over certain individuals who are misleading investors, job seekers and visa applicants while claiming to hold positions within the Presidential Secretariat.
The President's Media Division (PMD) said reports have been received that certain individuals are misleading investors, job seekers and visa applicants and are fraudulently obtaining money by submitting forged documents while claiming to hold positions within the Presidential Secretariat.
People are urged to verify the identities of such persons from Senior Assistant Secretary Prasad Senarath on telephone number 0715308032.

The whole presidential system is a scam. On one hand the people get scammed out of their tax money on the “back door” presidents own election campaign spending and on the other people get scammed with false promises of employment and foreign travel.

Now you turn this into your usual statement. No one really wanted to take over the President position at that time. He did it and it is all within the constitution that was already in place. Sri Lanka is known for fraud of all kinds, including immigration, money laundering, human and drug smuggling and racketeering. If the government is serious, they need to start cleaning the house from top to bottom, then move to the garden and then the streets. He who has a brain, let him understand.

It is the government's job to be arrest such individuals using intelligence. As public servants, preventing such deceptions may be in the oath you all took. Have hot lines to which we can report suspicious people. Protect the identity of those who report. Give severe punishment instead of granting bail. Study such moves from foreign countries at least.
