Inflation eases in August
Sri Lanka’s inflation eased to 7 percent in August compared with the 7.5 percent recorded during the same month of the previous year, Census and Statistics Department said
However, Sri Lanka’s 12 month moving average inflation as measured by the CCPI settled in the month of July at a single digit figure of 7.1 percent.
