Thehan Wijemanne having earlier won the Men’s Open singles bagged his second title at the 111th Colombo Tennis Championship partnered by Biyanka Accuistapac to grab the Mixed Open doubles.

The two recorded a comfortable two sets to nil win over the pair of Sanka Athukorala and Dinara de Silva in the final played at the SLTA tennis courts at Greenpath, Colombo.

Meanwhile in two junior finals of the Under 16 girls and boys events, Samaira Fernando and Dehan Wickramasinghe finished on top with wins against Eliza Kahagalla and Damsath Peiris by the identical winning margins of two sets to nil.

In the girls’ Under-18 semifinals Sahansa Damsiluni and Akeesha Silva advanced to the final beating Gehansa Methnadi and Githmi Fernando.

Mixed Doubles:

Thehan Wijemanne/Biyanka Accuistapac beat Sanka Athukorala/Dinara de Silva 2-0 (6/2, 6/0)

Under 16:

Girls – Samaira Fernando beat Eliza Kahagalla 2-0 (7/5, 64)

Boys - Dehan Wickramasinghe beat Damsath Peiris 2-0 (6/4, 6/1)
