Dharmaraja College will field a youthful outfit under the leadership of fourth year player and second rower Poojana Ratnayake for the upcoming Inter-School Rugby League tournament.
Ratnayake will have two deputies in Anupa Herath and Luchithra Wijayaratna to assist him during this season.
They will also have some senior players such as Chandeepa Bandara, Charuka Jayawardena and Chalana Mendis in the team to boost their chances this year.
The Rajans have produced some class players in the recent past such as Indrajith Bandaranayake, Hemantha Yatawara, Ajantha Samarakoon and Radhika Hettiarachchi.
The Rajans last won the Schools League in 2013 under Rochana Hettiarachchi with Radhika Hettiarachchi being their Head Coach.
They will be under the watchful eyes of Head Coach Dinesh Gamage, the former Kingswoodian.
Gamage played for the Randles Hills school in 2005 and coached S. Thomas College (junior team), Kingswood Colombo and the Sri Sumangala senior teams before taking over the Rajans Under 19 team.
He will have former CH and FC, Kandy SC and national player Achala Perera as his forwards coach.
Rajith Abeykoon will be their Trainer with Indika Ranatunge the Team Manager.
