Major Club Cricket T20 Tournament gets underway today

The Major Club Cricket T20 tournament, comprising both Tier A and Tier B categories, which was scheduled to be played last week but postponed due to inclement weather, will get underway today.

Six matches are scheduled to be played today across both categories. The Tier A matches will be played at three venues — Colts CC, NCC and CCC grounds — with three matches in the morning session and three in the evening session.

Six matches are also scheduled in the Tier B segment, with three matches in the morning and three in the evening sessions at the Navy Grounds in Welisara, Police Park and BRC Grounds.

Match Schedule:

Tier A

9.45 a.m. – CCC vs Nugegoda S&WC at Colts; Bloomfield C&AC vs Police SC at NCC; and BRC vs Badureliya CC at CCC.

2.00 p.m. – Panadura SC vs Ace Capital CC at Colts; Tamil Union C&AC vs Kurunegala YCC at NCC; and Colts CC vs SSC at CCC.

Tier B

9.45 a.m. – Ragama CC vs Kurunegala CC at Welisara; Chilaw Marians CC vs Sebastianites C&AC at Police Park; and Moratuwa SC vs United Southern SC at BRC.

2.00 p.m. – Army SC vs Kandy Customs SC at Welisara; Leo CC vs Negombo CC at Police Park; and Navy SC vs Galle CC at BRC.
