The Lanka Super League semi-professional football tournament, conducted by Football Sri Lanka (FSL), will resume today with Up-country Lions FC taking on Defenders FC in the 14th match at the Sugathadasa Stadium.
The tournament comprises 10 rounds and a total of 45 matches, with 10 matches of rounds four and five scheduled from December 5-12.
The tournament is set to conclude by January 8 and all matches will be worked off at the Sugathadasa Stadium, Racecourse Grounds in Reid Avenue and at the Maliga Pitiya Stadium in Kurunegala.
The tournament was suspended on May 2 to make way for the FIFA World Cup (Asia) Qualifying Round, the SAFF Tournament in the Maldives, the AFC Under-23 Asia Cup Qualifiers in Qatar and the Four Nations Football Tournament in Colombo.
Unbeaten Sea Hawks FC sits on top of the points table of the tournament with a total of nine points from three games.
