Kandy beat Galle in their Sri Lanka Youth Under-19 League tournament at the Samadhi Ground in Anuradapura.

Highlight of the encounter was a fine unbeaten ton by Trinitian Pulisha Thilakaratne who scored 103 off 107 balls inclusive of 16 boundaries and fine leg spin bowling by Kingswoodian Kenula Pihillianga.
