Kandy Ladies’ CC receiving their Trophy

Kandy Ladies’ CC won the Kandy District Women’s Inter-Club Twenty20 Cricket Tournament when they edged out the Central Ladies’ CC by one wicket in the final played at the Zahira College Grounds in Gampola.
Meanwhile, Kegalle Ladies’ CC won third place of the tournament beating Nuwara Eliya Ladies CC by six wickets in the playoff.

Kandy Ladies’ CC: 101/9 in 20 overs (Kavishka Abeyrathne 33, Sanuki Pathirage 21, Sansala Wanigasekara 2/9, Shanilka Sathyangi 2/14, Tharushi Thathsarani 2/20).

Nuwara Eliya Ladies’ CC: 117/8 in 20 overs (Nirasha Gimhani 21, Chathuni Maheesha 2/29)
Kegalle Ladies’ CC: 120/4 in 17.4 overs (Ruvini Nandasena 35, Imesha Mihirangi 34 n.o).
