Green Walk on July 12 - step towards Isipathana’s future

Isipathana College, Colombo announces Green Walk 2025, a symbolic march scheduled for July 12 starting at 2:00 p.m. near the college premises. 

This landmark event is being organsed in support of constructing a state-of-the-art indoor sports complex, set to be completed in 2027 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Isipathana College.

The proposed indoor stadium, with an estimated cost of Rs. 35 million, will be equipped to host 18 indoor sports including basketball, volleyball, throwball, handball, badminton, futsal, table tennis, and more. The project is spearheaded by the College administration in collaboration with the Isipathana College Old Boys’ Association, aiming to nurture the sporting talents of current and future Pathanians.

The celebrations will continue with Green Night 2025, a vibrant musical concert, set to take place on the same evening at 7:00 p.m. at Henry Pedris Stadium, Thimbirigasyaya. The concert will feature an exciting lineup of popular artistes including Bathiya & Santhush, Senanayake Weraliyadda, Funky Dirt, Rapzilla, Sachintha Pulasthi, and Ashanya Premadasa, performing with the dynamic Yaka Crew.
