Ananda and Visakha U15 tennis champs

Ananda College, Colombo, and Visakha Vidyalaya succeeded in winning the Under-15 Boy’s and Girl’s school tennis championships. This tournament was held at the Queens Tennis Court, Colombo.

At the final stage of the Ritzbury All Island Schools Age Group Tennis Tournament 2025, organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Tennis Association, Ananda and Visakha clinched their respective titles.

Ananda College defeated St. Peter’s College, Bambalapitiya 3–1 in the final to win the Boy’s championship while Visakha Vidyalaya beat Museaus College 3–1 in the final to secure the Girl’s championship.

In the Boy’s semi-finals, Ananda College overcame S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia 3–0 and St. Peter’s College 

defeated Royal College, Colombo 3–1 to qualify for the final.

In the Girl’s semi-finals, Visakha Vidyalaya beat St. Bridget’s Convent, Colombo 3–0 and Museaus College defeated Bishop’s College, Colombo 3–0 to advance to the final and eventually win the championship.
