Abiru and Jessica win Future Stars TT titles

Upcoming young table tennis players Abiru Perera of Killerspin Table Tennis Academy and Jessica Van Heer of Holy Cross College, Gampaha won the men’s and women’s Singles titles at the Sri Lanka Future Stars Table Tennis Championship 2026 held at the Indoor Stadium of Gateway College, Colombo.

In the tournament, which featured nearly 150 emerging table tennis players, Abiru Perera defeat KD Chrish of Loyola College, Bopitiya in the men’s Singles final with a score of 11/05, 11/05 to claim the title.

In the women’s Singles final, Jessica Van Heer defeated Minuli Hettiaarachchi of Horizon College International, Malabe with scores of 11/04, 11/08 to secure the championship.

The tournament was conducted by Sportplus Sports Club, Colombo.
