From indulgences such as electronic devices to everyday purchases like groceries, HNB is treating its Credit and Debit Cardholders to a bonanza of offers on a variety of products this festive season, with attractive discounts of up to 70%.
These discounts are applicable on purchases at leading brands, online and fashion retail outlets, restaurants, supermarkets hotels and more, during specific days or within a given period in November and December 2021. Besides discounts, the aptly themed ’A Season Wrapped In Happiness’ promotion also offers HNB Credit Cardholders zero-interest instalment plans of up to 48 months across a range of merchants.
Customers can avail themselves of attractive discounts and convenient instalment schemes with no added handling fees on purchases of electronic and electrical items, accessories and other lifestyle items, jewellery and vehicle parts. Significant discounts are offered on supermarkets, hotel stays, dining, stationery and purchases from pharmacies etc. In addition, zero-interest instalment plans up to 24 months are offered on insurance, educational and hospital payments, as well as any other transaction, except for fuel payments and cash advances, during the month of December.

In terms of electronics, electrical devices, fashion and lifestyle items, HNB has tied up with a wide range of online and retail stores, enabling customers to shop safely from the comfort of their residences.
Many reputed online partners are also part of seasonal offers for this year as well. Any items purchased from the websites of Daraz.lk, Wasi.lk, Lovetubuy.lk, Takas.lk, PickMe Food & Market, UberEats, and Providore.com will enjoy discounts of up to 20% within the promotion period, during the days on which offers are valid.
Similarly, selected items purchased from the websites of Singer.lk, Mysoftlogic.lk, and Buyabans.com will also earn discounts of up to 20% and 10%, respectively. Domestic fitness equipment and accessories purchased from Quantum.lk are offered discounts of up to 15%. HNB Credit Cardholders can pay for purchases from many of these online stores via zero-interest instalments schemes.
A large number of popular retail and lifestyle outlets are also part of the promotion. These include the showrooms of Abans, Singer, Softlogic, Softlogic MAX and Furniture, , CameraLK, Damro, iDealz Lanka, Quantum Fitness, Dinapala, Hunter & Company, Wickramarachchi Opticians, D. S. Jayasinghe Opticians (selected branches only) and Seetha Holdings and many more reputed partners. Depending on the merchant, these outlets offer discounts of up to 50% on selected items, together with zero-interest instalment schemes up to 48 months.

Ensuring that customers can entertain and celebrate in style during the season, the Bank will also offer promotions in partnership with leading supermarket chains, such as Cargills with discounts of 25% off on meat & dairy products every Monday till the end of November for HNB Credit cardholders, while-Keells Super is set to offer 20% off on fresh vegetables and fruits on Tuesdays and Wednesdays till end December. while HNB Credit cardholders will also receive 20% off at Laugfs Super outlets on beverages & Crimson bakery products every Thursday. Softlogic Glomark will offer 20% off and 10% on the total bill for HNB Credit and debit cardholders respectively, every Friday till 31st December and Arpico Supercentres, and Daily outlets will offer 25% off on selected vegetables, fruits and seafood every weekend during the same period.
Discounts and zero-interest instalment schemes are also applicable for purchases at renowned jewellery stores for HNB Credit Cardholders. Discounts of up to 70% for selected items are offered for purchases at Zam Gems, Premadasa Jewellers, Raja Jewellers, Swarnamahal Jewellers, Vogue Jewellers and Colombo Jewellery Stores, Pure Gold by Tiesh, Fior Drissage Jewellers and Mallika Hemachandra Jewellers and many more jewelry partners, in addition to interest-free instalment schemes offered on all purchases of jewelry up to 24 months.
HNB Credit Cardholders can also enjoy substantial discounts while dining at many of the country’s favourite restaurants and discounts or special rates at preferred hotel properties. In terms of dining, at Pizza Hut, HNB Credit Cardholders can buy one and get one free large pizza every 3rd Wednesday till end December. HNB Credit Cardholders can also enjoy discounts on many day-to-day purchases – including groceries, pharmaceuticals, vehicle parts and insurance.Customers will benefit from up to 35% and 25% discounts on selected payments at Toyota Lanka and Indra Traders, as well as attractive offers plus 0% instalment plans available at Sterling After Care, Merc Stop, Prestige Automobile, Ideal First Choice and many more automobile partners. In addition to above, HNB Prestige Prime Visa Credit cardholders will receive discounts up to 50% off and 0% instalment plans at select leading automobile merchants till 31st Dec 2021. New customers are also eligible for 10% discounts on the purchase of insurance policies through Insureme.lk. Similarly, discounts of 10% are applicable on the purchases of pharmaceuticals from Quickmed.lk and 5% at Melsta Pharmacy, subject to relevant terms and conditions.
