Ceylon Continental celebrates Mother's Day with an inspired five course special

On Mother's Day, people around the world take the time to honour their mums, as they appreciate and thank them for their love and encouragement. Generally, festivities centre on the emotions shared within families, and this Mother's Day, Ceylon Continental will strive to keep the emotions and the idea alive.

Ceylon Continental has created an exclusive dining experience for mothers and their families looking for sumptuous food and fond memories, at the Club Continental Lounge on Mother's Day, Sunday 9th May, from 7pm to 11pm, in addition to other promotional activities planned around the Hotel.

The Mother's Day experience includes a complimentary mocktail and a five course set menu with starters, soup, a main course and desserts. Furthermore, a dainty selection of petits fours, and a choice of tea or coffee will be served. The ambience will be further enhanced by the inclusion of a pianist to set the mood for this family evening.

Extraordinary vistas of the calm waters of the Indian Ocean, the lush Galle Face Green strip and Colombo's skyline are on offer from Club Lounge, which sits on the 9th floor of the Hotel. Its setting is a reminder of the Hotel's unique beachfront location that also gives each and every room and suite of the Hotel the same breathtaking view.

The Mothers' Day promotion is priced at Rs. 1,950 nett per person.
