Yevan David clinches fourth win with dominant drive at Hockenheim

Sri Lankan driver Yevan David claimed his fourth race victory of the season with a commanding performance in the final race of Round Three of the Euroformula Open Championship at Hockenheim.

Starting from third on the grid, Yevan delivered a sensational launch to take the lead within metres and never looked back. 

He maintained control throughout the race, unfazed by changing weather conditions and a late safety car that briefly erased his lead. At the restart, Yevan held his nerve and crossed the finish line just under a second ahead of his closest rival.

In a display of sheer pace and consistency, Yevan also set the fastest lap in all three races over the weekend. He now leaves Hockenheim with an 18-point lead in the championship standings, solidifying his status as the title frontrunner.
