Western Province Inter-Schools Rugby Sevens 2022 Ananda beat DS Senanayake to clinch title

Ananda College were crowned champions at the Western Province Inter Schools Rugby Sevens 2022 beating D S Senanayake College 21-07 in the final which was organized by Western Province Education Department and took place at the Zahira College ground.

Ananda, D S Senanayake College, President’s College and Zahira College reached the semi-final stages. Chief Guest for the event was former Peterite and Havies player Roshan Deen, Chairman of Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) Development.

Results

Semi-finals: D S Senanayake College beat President’s College Maharagama 29-00, Ananda College beat Zahira College 17-07; Third place: President College beat Zahira College 19-12; Final: Ananda College beat D S Senanayake College 21-07
