Udara and Dewmini win titles at road race

H.Y. Udara of President’s College, Ambagasdowa and P.W.G.C.H. Dewmini of Teldeniya National School claimed the first-place titles in the boys and girls categories respectively at the Ritzbury Inter-School One Mile Road Race 2025, recently held at Embilipitiya.

Organized for the first time by the Sri Lanka School Athletic Association (SLSAA), the event attracted over 50 young athletes from various schools. In the boys’ category, the second place went to C.G. Akalanka of Embilipitiya MV while D.M.M. Malinga of President’s College, Ambagasdowa secured third place.

In the girls’ category, J.M.P. Bavindya of Viharamahadevi Balika Vidyalaya, Badulla finished second, with K.M.I. Mahesha of President’s College, Ambagasdowa taking third place.
