Trinity awards five Lions from League winning team

Trinity College awarded the Lion and Colours to their rugby outfit that played in the 2025 season that made them the League champions after nearly 40 years.

Shan Althaf, was one of the winners of the Lion and will lead the outfit during the 2026 season while Nisith Kumarasinghe and Udan Wijekoon will be his deputies. Kumarasinghe was also awarded the Lion.

Usmaan Safraz, Shan Althaf, Nisith Kumarasinghe, Manusha Silva and S Satheeshkumar were Lion recipients while Colours were awarded to Dishal Thomas, Onija Kodituwakku, Tevin Udukumbura, Achintha Jayasena, Ravindu Jayasinghe, Hamza Abdeen, Minula Yaddehige, Ramindu Wanasinghe, Ishara Premachandra, Ridma Nimneth, Akash Fernando, Ammar Manzil and Udan Wijekoon.
